Join the Phoenix Books Local Authors Program in welcoming Mary Ann Fuller Young for a reading and discussion of her memoir, Plainly & Simply, at our Burlington location.
Plainly & Simply is a straightforward, brave chronicle of one woman's courageous maneuvering around and through some of life's most overwhelming problems.
Finding support through journaling while struggling with her own life struggles, Young allows her readers into her world as she takes them on a poignant journey. Through the insiduous progresion and challenge of her beloved's Alzheimer's disease, Young evolves with new insights and hard earned strength.
At times this memoir is humorous and sentimental. We do not tiptoe through Plainly & Simply, but rather take bold strides with Young as she must discover the best solution for each challenge. The reader is by her side, cheering her on every step of the way.
A wonderfully written story of survival is every reader's reward.
