Please join us at Phoenix Books Burlington for an evening with Henry F. Zacchini to celebrate the launch of Even Dictators Need Dogs: Stories & Poems, his latest book published with Onion River Press this fall.
In this new book of short stories and poems, author Henry F. Zacchini writes about the contradictions of the human condition, love, death, politics and dogs. The short stories in this work explore the brutality of the Argentinian dictatorship, a zombie apocalypse in London and a disaffected Japanese student attending the University of Oxford.
Henry F. Zacchini is a writer and teacher. He has published two prior books. One is a work of non-fiction entitled, Myth, Immorality and American Imperialism. The other work, entitled, Then at 44, is a collection of poems. He lives in Vermont with his family.
