Naomi Novik is the New York Times bestselling author of The Scholomance series, the award-winning novels Uprooted and Spinning Silver, and the nine-volume Temeraire series. She is a founder of the Organization for Transformative Works and the Archive of Our Own. She lives in New York City with her family and six computers. Her latest book, The Golden Enclaves, is the third of the Scholomance trilogy.
Katherine Arden is the New York Times bestselling author of the Winternight trilogy and the Small Spaces quartet. Born in Austin, Texas, she has studied Russian in Moscow, taught at a school in the French Alps, and worked on a farm in Hawaii. She currently lives in Vermont.
