Megan Price

Megan Price headshotA former award-winning journalist and Vermont legislator, Megan Price has been called a "folklore artist" for her ability to breathe life into little known, true tales of the Green Mountains as told by those who lived them. "The books are a working man's history," Price says. "The stories combine history, humor, conservation, danger and courage." Price gives credit to the retired game wardens who share their adventures with her, putting their names and photos in the books. "I'm always looking for more wardens, more deputies, more good stories, from any state. I want to save good stories and share them. I hope people will stop by and pass along a name of a retired game warden or deputy with good stories if they know someone," she added. "The older fellows tend to have the best stories! And I'm interested in hearing from wardens from every state."
