Peter Hogenkamp is a practicing physician, public speaker, and author of medical fiction and thrillers living in Rutland, Vermont. His first novel, The Intern was published in April 2020 by Touchpoint Press. Peter is the founder and editor of The Book Stops Here, a literary blog for readers and writers written by authors, agents, editors, publishers, and poet, and the creator, producer, and host of Your Health Matters, a health information program, which airs on cable television, streams on YouTube and sounds off on podcast. Peter was a finalist for the prestigious 2019 Killer Nashville Claymore Award as well as the 2020 Vermont Writer’s Prize. When he isn’t writing or practicing medicine, he loves to hike, ski, and take photographs.
James Kochalka is one of the most unique and prolific cartoonists working in America today. His comics have been published internationally, and he’s developed animated cartoons for Nickelodeon. Among his best-known work is the Johnny Boo series, for which he won an Eisner Award in 2019. In 2011, James became the first official Vermont Cartoonist Laureate. He and his wife, Amy, continue to live in Vermont, where they raised their family of two boys and too many cats.
