My inspiration for writing this cookbook comes from a generational belief that more food is better when it comes to any meal. My grandmother and mother would serve enough food to feed an army when there were only 4 of us at the table. Unfortunately, you can't stop time when you realize that you don't have enough to serve so that a quick side dish recipe can become your best friend in times of crisis.
