Mara is devastated after a fatal accident kills her best friend, boyfriend, and her boyfriend's sister, leaving her the sole survivor. When her family moves to a new town, Mara is eager for a fresh start, but the past isn't over yet. As she begins to fall in love with someone new, she finds herself haunted by questions about that night--and about herself and the role she played in the accident.

Part romance, part supernatural thriller, part murder mystery--this book was a fun and fast read for me. This is a perfect book for Twilight fans who are looking for a new "Edward" to fall in love with, but it will aso be an entertaining book for those who are over the vampire craze and are looking for something more unique. Go ahead and give it a try.

This book takes an intensely honest look at depression, suicide, and the effect our actions can have on others. Part commentary on high school cruelty, part lamentation, part promise of hope for anyone struggling with these issues. The author has an awesome ballance of sensitivity and truthfulness in this compelling story.

Time travel, secret societies, conspiracies and theft, sword fights, and romance: these are just a handful of the things that make Ruby Red fun to read. I finished it in one sitting and almost died when I realized the sequal wasn't out until June of 2012!

Ever wanted to know more about the world in The Lord of the Rings? The Silmarilion is where you will find it. In many ways Tolkien's life work, this mythology traces the history of Middle Earth, from the birth of the Elves to the tale of Beren and Luthien to the line of Aragorn.

With heart-breaking honesty, Sarah Sentilles describes one of the most personal journeys a person can take--religion and faith. Aptly entitled Breaking Up With God, Sarah's journey isn't softened to make it more "acceptable," nor does she try t convince readers she's "right." She merely tells about her deteriorating relationship with the god of her childhood, both the good and the bad as they are. Anyone who has ever questioned their faith can sympathize with the raw openness. To those who feel they are losing or have lost their faith, there's comfort in a kindred spirit.

For those who are fanatics (like me) of The Princess Bride movie, this is a must-read. It's one of the few stories where the book and movie are equally fantastic in slightly different ways. I was ecstatic when they republishd this with an awesome new cover.
