This is a great book about having the courage to pursue one's dreams. It takes a realistic look at the possibility of failure while remaining optimistic at the same time. Retta is a character that is easy to empathize with. Although life rarely goes as planned, her passion and determination will spur the reader to keep believing.

I loved this book! Billingsley gave me just enough info to keep me reading yet still guessing. Briony hates herself, but you'll fall in love with her from the very beginning. Chime is a magical, fresh take on the witchcraft young adult novel. I highly recommend it.
